How much does enclosed car transport cost?
It depends on the collection and delivery address, the vehicle and the date. As a guide, net of VAT, enclosed trailer, collected in Lower Bavaria: within Bavaria usually €250 to €1,000, within Germany €800 to €2,700, destinations further afield such as Milan, Paris or London €1,500 to €3,500 plus tolls. You get your exact price in a written quote, usually the same day.
Enclosed or open: what’s the difference?
In the enclosed trailer the car is protected from rain, road salt, stone chips and onlookers. The open platform costs less and is fine for everyday cars and transfers in good weather. Lashing and reports are the same on both. For classics, convertibles, fresh paintwork and prototypes we recommend the enclosed trailer.
Can I see my car during the trip?
Yes, in the enclosed trailer. You get a link that shows the rig’s position live and a new picture from the load area every minute, at night too: when the rig is parked, the camera switches to infrared. The link stays valid until 14 days after delivery. The open platform has no camera picture and no live position.
How is the car secured?
With soft straps over the tyres, hooked into the perforated floor. Nothing pulls on the suspension or the bodywork, and every strap is tightened separately. There is only ever one car in the trailer, and it is never reloaded on the way.
Will my car fit in the trailer?
The enclosed trailer measures 5500 × 2130 × 2000 mm inside, the open platform 4500 × 2090 mm. In the enclosed trailer a Porsche 911 or a Range Rover Sport fits with room to spare; it gets tight there above 5.4 metres in length or with anything on the roof. Send us the model and any modifications and we check beforehand.
Do you carry lowered cars?
Yes. The ramp angle is shallow, and for very little ground clearance we put wedges underneath. Tell us about lowered suspension, a front splitter, diffuser or widebody in advance. Then we know whether and how the car goes on before we arrive, not when we’re already outside your garage.
Do you take cars that don’t run?
Yes, as long as they still roll. A car that won’t start but can be pushed, steered and braked is pulled into the trailer by the winch. Cars that no longer roll, we can’t load. Please describe the condition when you enquire.
Do you drive abroad?
Yes. Since 4 September 2026 we hold the EU Community licence for international road haulage. We drive across Europe, including Switzerland and the UK. You enquire about a cross-border trip just like any other, and you get a written quote with a date in advance.
How quickly do I get a quote?
Usually the same day. Give us the car, the collection and destination addresses and your preferred date, with photos if you have them. You get a written quote with a date. If something is unclear, we call instead of guessing.
How do collection and handover work?
At collection we photograph the car all round, note its condition and mileage, and both sides sign. At the destination we do the same again. You get both reports as a signed PDF. Collection and handover are possible in the evening and at weekends too.
Can you do it without photographs?
Yes. For prototypes, pre-production cars or cars ahead of an unveiling, we can travel without any photo documentation. The enclosed trailer is unmarked, so nobody outside can see what’s in it. We will sign a non-disclosure agreement beforehand if you ask.
